Cipher is a proof of concept app that brings the power of augmented reality and translation to your phone.
The initial idea of the app was to be used by people who travel (as seen in Concepts #1-3 below), but it soon branched to just general usage by anyone who needed on the go translation.
For the storyboards, I’ve learned from my previous motion projects that they need to be entirely completed beforehand (since I jumped ahead even though I was short of storyboards at times), and this can be seen with how detailed and close the final storyboards are to the finished video. Unlike my music video projects which focused primarily on energy and a variety of motion for the song, Cipher’s motion video is more focused on advertising a collective brand.
+ Created and revised professional-grade storyboards as reviewed by teacher.
+ Created and revised scripts (compared to the lengthy script as seen in the first storyboards).
+ Curated sound effects and used it in tune with narration.
